The Basin Plan

While the Basin Plan provides a framework for implementation, it is crucial that we work together with the Basin states (Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory), water management authorities, Basin communities, Aboriginal people, industry and other key stakeholders to achieve a healthy, working Basin.

Throughout the Plan's implementation, we are working with our partners to ensure the Basin continues to support communities, the environment and industry. We address key considerations that impact the delivery of the Basin Plan to ensure the resources of the Basin are managed in an integrated and sustainable way.
